Fellow Brothers and Sister in Christ
We’re a group of brothers and sisters in Christ who are passionate in sharing good news to others especially to those who are of southeast asian heritage. Our group fellowship was established since 2008 under the leadership of Minister Ben Asuncion, the fellowship grew and later become SEAM which stands for “South East Asian Ministry”.

In December of 2008, Southeast Asian Ministry (SEAM) began quietly as a small fellowship group on Saturday. Our group consisted of more than twenty people who lived around Los Angeles County.
Most of us attended English Worship Service and some in the Mandarin Worship Service on Sunday. The fellowship group continued until 2016 when we started the first SEAM Worship Service on Saturday under the supervision of Pastor Francis, the English congregation pastor.

Before that, for three consecutive years in three different occasions, Pastor Francis has approached Ben Asuncion about the possibility of starting a worship service on Saturday. But during that time, Ben was working fulltime and had to go to seminary at night for his Master of Divinity program.
After Ben’s graduation from seminary, SEAM officially launched its first worship service on September 17, 2016 with the purpose to be an instrument of evangelism, rather than simply a gathering place for believers. Thus, SEAM was conducted in such a way to reach the seekers of the truth; to reach the unbelievers; and the unchurch people. For almost five years now, the core group of SEAM have been faithfully following Jesus’ great commission, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the ages.” (Matthew 28:18-20) In all these years, God has strengthen their faith and they have grown from 30 people to more than 70 in such a short period of time.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
MATTHEW 28:18-20
